Terms of Service
Last updated 9 September 2026
These terms describe how Cuura currently operates. They have not yet been reviewed by legal counsel, and they must be before Cuura takes on its first paying client.
What Cuura provides
Cuura builds, launches and hosts a practice website and management dashboard for you, at the tier you select. What each tier includes is set out on the packages page.
What you pay
- A build fee, half of it as a deposit when you sign up.
- The remaining half when you approve your preview, before launch.
- A monthly fee starting at launch, for hosting and ongoing platform access.
- HST at 13% on all of the above, shown as its own line before you pay.
There is no long-term contract. You can stop the monthly subscription at any time; when you do, hosting stops. Cuura does not currently offer a self-host option.
Revisions and approval
Your tier includes a set number of revision rounds. You review a private preview and either approve it or send feedback. The balance falls due only once you approve.
Your content
You keep ownership of everything you give us — your bio, images, documents and client records. You confirm you have the right to use what you upload. Cuura takes the licence it needs to build and operate your site, and nothing more.
Your professional obligations
You remain responsible for your own regulatory obligations, including your duties as a health information custodian under PHIPA. Cuura is a tool you use to deliver care. Choices with privacy consequences — adding third-party analytics, for instance — are yours to make, and we will explain the trade-off before you confirm one.
Availability
We aim to keep your site available continuously and do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance is announced in advance where practical.
Ending the agreement
Either side may end this agreement. On cancellation we work through an offboarding checklist with you: data export, domain transfer, subscription cancellation and confirmed deletion.
